Overview
The African Scientific Association for Innovative and Entrepreneurship (ASAIE) is an international organization which aims to promote scientific research, innovations and entrepreneurship in Africa. Since 2019, ASAIE organization has initiated several projects and programs related to community growth and research advancement. Some of the above mentioned projects and programs include and are not limited to AJICPE (Programme d’Encadrement et d’Accompagnement des Jeunes Ingenieurs et Chercheurs) program, PRUSCH Services SARL, and CASCI (Central African Sustainable Cities Initiative) program.  The Renewable Energies Seminar and Workshop is an idea of the CASCI, a program initiated by ASAIE organization in partnership with PROSOFOR AFRIQUE, the Promotion Centre of Research for Technological Advancement and Sustainable Development (PCR-TASD) and the Laboratoire Energétique Carnot (LEC), aiming to fight against rural exodus and stimulate the local economy in both remote and urban areas.

Objectives of RESW
The objectives of RESW 2026 was to:
- Expose students to the latest technologies, innovations, and industry trends in solar energy;
- Provide hands-on experience with solar energy systems and technologies.

Mode of participation
The Renewable Energies Seminar and Workshop (RESW)is specifically dedicated to undergraduate students of various field of engineering such as and not limited to Renewable energies, electrical and electronics engineering, civil and architectural engineering, Computer engineering, Mechanical engineering and Chemical and petroleum engineering. RESW consists of certified theoretical and practical sessions. The theoretical session is consists of PowerPoint presentations on various topics by experts of their respective field while practical sessions consists of well-organized workshop training in groups of participants.

Award of Certificates
At the end of the training, three types of certificates are awarded. Certificates of participation are awarded to all students who successively participated to the RESW in both theoretical and practical/workshop training sections . In addition, certificates of instructors are awarded to all speakers in recognition of their valuable contribution as trainer/facilitator during the RESW. Finally, certificates of acknowledgements are awarded to all companies and members of the organizing committee in recognition of their outstanding support towards RESW .
